Three ways your homepage could look

We built your homepage three different ways and rebuilt the instant estimate tool inside all of them. This page shows you what each one does, what it measures, and what we would add next. Then you pick.

Two were being thrown away

Start here: the three directions

Same words, same photographs, same phone number. Only the design changes.

Direction one

The Refresh

Your page as it is today, in better clothes. Same order, same sections, nothing moved. What changes is that your real photographs carry it instead of flat color blocks — you in front of the truck, your family, a technician on a gauge. The estimate tool moves up so it sits one screen below the top.

Open the Refresh

Direction two

The Rebuild

A full redesign. The page opens on a photograph of you and the truck with a short moving clip over it, headline set very large across the width. Sections are regrouped so the estimate tool comes third, right after the row of badges and ratings. Bolder and more modern than anything on the page today.

Direction three

The Livery

Designed like your truck. White body, navy and red lettering, big enough to read from across the street. The slanted red box from your logo becomes the one repeating shape on the page — it labels every section and shapes the estimate tool. On a desktop the top of the page plays a short clip; on a phone it is the photograph.

What we fixed in the estimate tool

The same tool is inside all three directions. These changes are in every one of them.

What we did not touch

The questions themselves, the order they come in, and the prices behind them are exactly as they were. Nothing about what the tool asks or calculates has changed — only what reaches you afterwards.

What the tool now sends you

The record that lands with a new lead.

Speed, measured this afternoon

Your live site and all three directions, put on the same hosting and measured the same way, minutes apart.

Your website is already fast. It scores 93 out of 100 on a phone, and anything above 90 is a good page. So this is not a rescue — it is a page that already works, made to fill in about half the time.

Seconds before the main content appears, on a phone. Lower is better. Your site today 3.0s The Refresh 2.1s The Rebuild 2.1s The Livery 1.5s

Check it yourself

You do not have to take our word for the speed numbers.

  1. Open pagespeed.web.dev in your browser. It is free and it is Google’s own tool.
  2. Paste in af1heatingandcooling.com and press Analyze.
  3. Look at the Mobile tab, at the number under Performance. That is today’s page.
  4. Then paste in any of the three preview links above and run it again. Same tool, same day, your own eyes.

What the site lost along the way

We compared the site as we built it against the version running today. Page by page, on September 1st, 2026.

Two things worth saying plainly

Nothing was permanently destroyed. The 146 pages are intact and can be put back in front of Google in a single publish. The code that puts your stars back is small, and we have written it once already.

All three directions on this page carry these back. The reviews, the full page list and the working estimate tool are in every one of them, along with a set of smaller improvements — rewritten page descriptions, image labeling, and tracking that finally shows you which pages bring you work.

What we would add next: a page built for ads

A proposal, not something we have switched on.

When someone clicks a paid ad, they arrive with one thing in mind and very little patience. Your website is built to let a visitor wander — menus, service pages, areas, financing. On paid traffic every one of those links is an exit you have already paid for.

So we built a separate page that does one job. No menus. No long list of links in the footer. The estimate tool is the first thing on screen, before anyone scrolls.

Nothing is running yet. Before it can go live we need the tracking details from your Google Ads account, so you can see which clicks turned into leads. Without them you are paying for clicks you cannot measure.

What is still open

What we need from you

One decision

Open all three and tell us which one you want. There is no wrong answer here — all three are built, all three are fast, and all three carry your words unchanged.

Or mix them. If you want the top of one and the middle of another, say so. “The Livery, but with the family photograph the Refresh uses” is a perfectly good answer and costs no more than picking one outright.

Tell us the ads page is a yes or a no at the same time, and send the Google Ads tracking details if it is a yes.

Once you choose, we finish that direction, roll the same look across the rest of the site, and put a date in front of you for going live.
